What if we're not 'On-the-Net' yet?

   No Problem! All you need is for one school staff member to have a way to get on the Internet, and you're all set!  That connection can be a standard "dial-up" (phone line) connection, a "DSL" or a "Cable Modem" connection.  It doesn't matter. MySchoolSite is designed to be fast regardless of the type of connection you have. You don't even need to have a connection at school (although it certainly is a nice convenience).  If a staff member can access the Internet from home, that's all you need to be able to set up and run your school site.

   Because of the inherent design of the MySchoolSite system, it doesn't need any one person to have a "fast connection" or spend more than 5 minutes a day using the system.  It's a distributed information system that shares the tasks among all the staff, parents and students so that anyone can help out and be responsible for any part of the system they wish.
